i crave travel...: sagada trip: day 3 - bomod-ok falls a.k.a big falls and echo valley

third day at sagada...trekking ulit!!! kahit sobrang pagod the day before at sobrang sakit ng katawan, tuloy pa rin ang trekking. this time, sa big falls otherwise known as bomod-ok falls, ang punta namin...sobrang layo pa daw from the town proper ang drop off point going to the big falls kaya we decided to hire a vehicle na lang going there...from the drop off point pa lang, kita mo na ang magandang view ng rice terraces...yes, rice terraces, magsasawa ka sa rice terraces! even heard someone said na-excite daw sya sa rice terraces and then after a while, naumay na raw sya! hehe...

going down is easy, but going back up is a different story...hehe

finally! yey! bomod-ok falls!

would have love to take a dip, but it was sooooo cold!

so, kahit masakit ang katawan namin, at paltos ang mga paa dahil sa trekking at caving the day before...tuloy ang lakad...lakad..lakad...at lakad...hingal na! ok lang naman magpahinga kung pagod na...as usual, going down to the big falls is nothing compared sa pagbalik na...if you have a faint heart, you must think twice before doing it...yung iba, di na kinakayang bumalik paakyat at binubuhat na lang ng mga tour guides nila! again, rewarding at sulit pagdating na sa falls...sarap ng feeling! i wanted to take a dip, but the water is soooooooooo cold! and i forgot to bring extra clothes...hehe...we stayed there for a while to savour the 'mist' coming from the waterfalls...sarap mag-muni-muni =) but, we have to go back and get back to the reality...to the reality na maglalakad ulit kami paakyat sa drop-off point! mind you, it's not easy!!! but the experience is sure worth it =)

going back to where we were staying, we took a side trip to the echo valley. syempre di namin pinalagpas ang pagkakataon na sumigaw at subukan kung totoo bang nag-e-echo ang echo valley! hehe!
