banaue rice terraces, ifugao province |
going to sagada, we made a stop-over at banaue rice terraces (or banawe rice terraces, whichever way you want to spell it). you should take the manila-banaue-bontoc-sagada route to be able to have this sidetrip.

i still think though that the banaue rice terraces at ifugao province deserves a trip of its own. i'm sure there's more sights to behold than this and it would also be a great experience.

if you're going to buy souvenirs, buy them when you're at banaue because it is much cheaper. souvenir prices in sagada is twice the price already of those in banaue.

you might also like to strike a pose with the igorots while you're there (for a just a small fee).
